The HIS BREAD ministry facilitates the support of indigenous missionaries to help ensure there is food on their tables. The HIS BREAD ministry facilitates the support of indigenous missionaries to help ensure there is food on their tables. The indigenous servants sponsored by HIS1040 often live in very humble conditions. Most of them have chosen full time ministry at a great financial cost to their family. The HIS BREAD program affords a small salary to indigenous missionaries that are working in church planting, pastoring, children's home management, and Christian education. It is so important to the testimony of the missionaries in their communities to show that God has provided for them in response to their faithfulness to God. There are approximately 200 workers currently receiving assistance through the HIS BREAD program. They are the backbone of the indigenous missions movement. We see the HIS BREAD program as a way to honor and respect the unsung heroes of the global missions movement. Through our "Adopt of Missionary" program you can be assigned a missionary in a certain region and receive information about the work that missionary is doing. A contribution of $100 per month will sponsor a missionary family from whom we will receive regular reports as God continues to expand their ministries. The prayers and financial support you contribute to the ministry of a minister's family will add stability and strength to their strategic work. Sponsoring an indigenous missionary will also connect you to what God is doing as you receive reports from your missionary, pray for their needs and rejoice in their successes. You can get reports from your missionary and send prayer notes to your missionary through your My 1040 portal account. Please contact us to let us know how we can help you establish a fruitful, strategic partnership in the 1040 region. |
